Qantas Airways Group pax numbers up 5% at 4.3m with 79% load factor in Apr-2016

Qantas Airways Group passenger numbers up 5% to 4.3 million in Apr-2016. Traffic highlights for Apr-2016 include:

• Passenger numbers: 4.3 million, +5.3% year-on-year;
• • Qantas Domestic*: 1.8 million, +3.4%;
  • Qantas International: 534,000, +8.1%;
  • Jetstar Domestic: 1.1 million, -1.1%;
  • Jetstar International: 530,000, +24.9%;
  • Jetstar Asia: 347,000, +7.3%;
• Passenger load factor: 79.4%, +2.1 ppts;
• • Qantas Domestic: 74.1%, +0.7 ppt;
  • Qantas International: 82.0%, +2.3 ppts;
  • Jetstar Domestic: 80.3%, -0.1 ppt;
  • Jetstar International: 78.9%, +4.8 ppts;
  • Jetstar Asia: 81.0%, +4.2 ppts.
