Qantas Airways Group pax numbers up 5% at 4.3m with 79% load factor in Apr-2016
Qantas Airways Group passenger numbers up 5% to 4.3 million in Apr-2016. Traffic highlights for Apr-2016 include:
- Passenger numbers: 4.3 million, +5.3% year-on-year;
- Passenger load factor: 79.4%, +2.1 ppts;

- Qantas Domestic: 74.1%, +0.7 ppt;
- Qantas International: 82.0%, +2.3 ppts;
- Jetstar Domestic: 80.3%, -0.1 ppt;
- Jetstar International: 78.9%, +4.8 ppts;
- Jetstar Asia: 81.0%, +4.2 ppts.

Qantas Group: "Group Domestic RASK was lower in April, in line with previous commentary on the disconnect in the timing of Easter and school holidays and demand softness related to the upcoming federal election in Australia.
