Pratt & Whitney Singapore engine centre celebrates 7000th engine refurbishment and delivery

Pratt & Whitney announced (06-Dec-2012) its Singapore engine centre, Eagle Services Asia Pte Ltd (ESA), celebrated the milestone delivery of its 7000th overhauled engine. A JV between Pratt & Whitney and SIA Engineering Co, the engine centre celebrated its 30th anniversary this year also recently surpassed the US billion-dollar revenue mark. The engine centre's diverse portfolio of customers is approximately 50% from the Americas, 40% from the Asia Pacific and the remaining from Africa, Europe and Middle East. ESA has capacity to overhaul up to 300 jet engines p/a and employs close to 900 employees. [more - original PR]
