Possible settlement between BA and Unite

UK's Unite union, which represents British Airways cabin crew, is reportedly "content" with what has been negotiated during talks with BA (BBC News/Reuters, 11-May-2011). An offer is expected to be put to a meeting of Unite members at London Heathrow Airport, with a ballot to follow. There have been 22 days of strikes over the past 18 months. A spokesman British Airways cabin crew union BASSA, a branch of Unite, confirmed that "talks have now concluded to the satisfaction of both parties". Talks commenced in Mar-2011.
