Osaka Kansai Airport confirms opening of LCCT on 28-Oct-2012

Japan's new Kansai International Airport Co confirmed (31-Jul-2012) the dedicated LCC terminal (T2) will open on 28-Oct-2012. The new facility will cover a floor space of 30,000sqm and will have nine aprons (two international, three joint domestic and international and four for domestic use), and 300 car parking spaces. The airport operator, which operates Osaka Kansai and Osaka Itami airports, also confirmed the following passenger service facility charge rates:

• Domestic:
  • Departing: JPY400 (USD5.13);
  • Arriving: JPY350 (USD4.49);
