Osaka governor envisages scrapping Osaka airport in 2035

Japan's Osaka Prefectural Government reportedly proposed plans for selling Osaka International Airport's site and using proceeds from the sale to build a new maglev train line linking downtown Osaka with Kansai International Airport (Kyodo News, 20-Nov-2009)
