New terminal building at Chennai Airport goes into full operations

Airport Authority of India announced (09-Apr-2013) the launch of full operations for the new terminal at Chennai International Airport from 11-Apr-2013. Air India, Jet Airways, Indigo and Go Air will shift their operations to the new building. The land-side traffic pattern for domestic operations will be changed with immediate effect for the passenger convenience. All vehicular traffic for domestic arrival/departure will be routed through the new terminal building at ground floor level. Traffic for international flights will see no change. [more - original PR]
