Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport annual pax exceeds 23 million for the first time on 10-Nov-2012

Russia's Moscow Sheremetyevo Airport reported (13-Nov-2012) accumulated passenger numbers for the year exceeded 23 million for the first time on 10-Nov-2012. In the first 10 months of 2012, the airport handled 22.3 million passengers, an increase of 17% year-on-year. The airport also reported a 15.6% increase in passengers to 2.2 million in Oct-2012, including a 11.8% increase in domestic passengers to 774,000 and a 17.7% increase in international passengers to 1.5 million. The most popular foreign destinations in the first 10 months were Antalya, Khurgada, Paris, Sharm-el-Sheikh, Prague, Beijing, Larnaka, New York, and Istanbul.
