Berlin Schönefeld and Berlin Tegel airports pax up 10%, cargo up 6% in May-2016

Berlin Tegel and Berlin Schönefeld airports reported (17-Jun-2016) a combined 9.9% year-on-year increase to 2.9 million in May-2016, with Berlin Tegel reporting a 2.4% decline to 1.9 million passengers and Berlin Schönefeld reporting a 43% increase to 1.0 million passengers. Aircraft movements at both airports increased 8.6% to 24,829, including a 1.4% decline to 16,212 at Berlin Tegel and a 34.3% increase to 8617 at Berlin Schönefeld.
