Lufthansa names new A380 'Zurich'. Two more A380s to deliver in 2012

Lufthansa announced (13-Sep-2011) the naming of its new A380 "Zurich", the hub of Lufthansa Group airlines SWISS. Lufthansa now operates eight A380s across its long-haul network, which are used on services from Frankfurt to Tokyo, Beijing, Johannesburg, New York JFK, San Francisco and Miami. In the upcoming winter period, the airline will use A380 equipment on Frankfurt-Singapore. It will take delivery of two additional 526-seat A380s in 2012. [more - original PR]
