Lufthansa Group to recruit over 3000 new staff in 2017

Deutsche Lufthansa AG announced (04-Jan-2017) it will hire over 3000 new staff in 2017, mostly cabin crew, to join airlines in the Lufthansa Group. Lufthansa will hire 1400 flight attendants at Frankfurt and Munich airports. Lufthansa held six flight attendant castings in Heidelberg, Mainz, Augsburg, Regensburg, Munich and Berlin in 2016. Lufthansa Technic plans to recruit 450 new staff and Austrian Airlines is hiring over 300 new, cabin crew, check in agents and pilots. 250 new candidates will start an apprenticeship or a degree in the Lufthansa Group for 2016/17.
