Lufthansa Group operating profit down 18% in 2011

Lufthansa Group reported (07-Mar-2012) an 18% year-on-year decline in operating profit to EUR820 million in 2011. The group reported an 8.3% increase in revenue to EUR28,700 million but reported a net loss of EUR13 million, compared to a net profit of EUR1100 million in p-c-p, which includes losses of EUR285 million from its discontinued operations at bmi and valuation effects linked to the disposal.
