Jet Airways planning to reconfigure at least 17 aircraft to all Econony

Jet Airways CCO, Sudhir Raghavan, stated the carrier plans to reconfigure at least 17 aircraft to all-Economy class, to increase low-cost offerings and improve load factors (Economic Times, 03-Mar-2010). The reconfiguration is being proposed for its fleet of B737 aircraft. The carrier currently has a fleet of ten B777-300ERs, 12 A330-200s, 53 B737-700/800/900s and 14 ATR 72-500s.
