Iran Summit: Oman Air interested in Iran Air codeshare, but not in any equity stakes in Iran

Oman Air CCO Abdulrahman Al Busaidy, speaking at the CAPA - Centre for Aviation Iran Aviation Summit 2016, stated (24-Jan-2016) Oman Air would like to work with Iran Air on a Tehran-Muscat codeshare as well as for routes beyond. There is not as much synergy with other, smaller carriers in Iran, although Mahan Air may be a possibility. However, Oman Air does not favor investing into other airlines, and it would rather have commercial, strategic partnerships than equity stakes.
