Iran Aviation Finance: The challenges Iranian aviation faces will go away - British Airways CEO

British Airways chairman and CEO Alex Cruz, at the CAPA Iran Aviation Finance Summit, stated (18-Sep-2016) that the obstacles that Iranian aviation faces "are going to go away". Passengers, tourism agencies and companies are going to "force us to cooperate" and there is determination and enthusiasm to develop these relationships. Iran "has the product" to stimulate a tremendous amount of traffic, both domestic and international, according to Mr Cruz. He noted that there are shared "pains" - regulatory, technology and economic - between Iranian and UK airlines, but that passengers and partners are going to demand that these are settled.
