Indian airlines report 31% growth in Sep-2009 domestic pax
Indian Ministry of Civil Aviation reports (15-Oct-2009) the following Indian domestic traffic highlights in Sep-2009:
- Passenger numbers: 3.5 million, +31.3% year-on-year;
- Air India: 614,000, +26.6%;
- Jet Airways: 555,000, -12.0%;
- JetLite: 271,000, +13.4%;
- Kingfisher: 816,000, +99.5%;
- SpiceJet: 461,000, +116.4%;
- Paramount: 70,000, +55.6%;
- GoAir: 204,000, +325.0%;
- IndiGo: 501,000, +84.9%;
- MDLR*: 13,000, n/a;
- Seat factor:
- Air India: 67.5%;
- Jet Airways: 69.8%;
- JetLite: 71.4%;
- Kingfisher: 75.2%;
- SpiceJet: 75.3%;
- Paramount: 84.2%;
- GoAir: 77.2%;
