IAG pax numbers up 8% in Oct-2012, premium traffic up 3%
International Airlines Group (IAG) reports (06-Nov-2012) the following consolidated traffic highlights in Oct-2012:
- Passenger numbers: 4.9 million, +7.5% year-on-year;
- Domestic (UK and Spain): 1.1 million, +20%;
- Europe: 2.1 million, +4.7%;
- North America: 739,000, +2.1%;
- Latin America and Caribbean: 387,000, -3%;
- Africa, Middle East and S.Asia: 398,000, +15.7%;
- Asia Pacific: 136,000, +1.5%;
- Passenger load factor: 80.5%, +0.4 ppt;
- Domestic (UK and Spain): 74.4%, -2.4 ppts;
- Europe: 78.6%, +0.7 ppt;
- North America: 84.6%, +0.9 ppt;
- Latin America and Caribbean: 80.9%, stable;
- Africa, Middle East and S.Asia: 76%, +0.7 ppt;
- Asia Pacific: 80.7%, +1.1 ppts;
