IAG pax numbers up 8% in Oct-2012, premium traffic up 3%

International Airlines Group (IAG) reports (06-Nov-2012) the following consolidated traffic highlights in Oct-2012:

• Passenger numbers: 4.9 million, +7.5% year-on-year;
  • Domestic (UK and Spain): 1.1 million, +20%;
  • Europe: 2.1 million, +4.7%;
  • North America: 739,000, +2.1%;
  • Latin America and Caribbean: 387,000, -3%;
  • Africa, Middle East and S.Asia: 398,000, +15.7%;
  • Asia Pacific: 136,000, +1.5%;
• Passenger load factor: 80.5%, +0.4 ppt;
  • Domestic (UK and Spain): 74.4%, -2.4 ppts;
  • Europe: 78.6%, +0.7 ppt;
  • North America: 84.6%, +0.9 ppt;
  • Latin America and Caribbean: 80.9%, stable;
  • Africa, Middle East and S.Asia: 76%, +0.7 ppt;
  • Asia Pacific: 80.7%, +1.1 ppts;
