International Airlines Group (IAG) reports (07-Jan-2013) the following consolidated traffic highlights:

  • Dec-2012:
    • Passenger numbers: 4.0 million, +4.3% year-on-year;
    • Passenger load factor: 78.1%, +0.5 ppt;
      • Domestic (UK and Spain): 68.7%, -4.2 ppts;
      • Europe: 69.6%, +0.4 ppt;
      • North America: 82.5%, +2.8 ppts;
      • Latin America and Caribbean: 80.4%, -0.5 ppt;
      • Africa, Middle East and S.Asia: 77.2%, -0.3 ppt;
      • Asia Pacific: 80%, +1.8 ppts;
    • Cargo traffic (FTKs): -4.0%;
  • 12 months ended Dec-2012:
    • Passenger numbers: 54.6 million, +5.6%;
      • Domestic (UK and Spain): 11.9 million, +9.9%;
      • Europe: 23.2 million, +3.7%;
      • North America: 8.5 million, +5.7%;
      • Latin America and Caribbean: 4.7 million, -1.7%;
      • Africa, Middle East and S.Asia: 4.8 million, +14.7%;
      • Asia Pacific: 1.6 million, +2.4%;
    • Passenger load factor: 80.3%, +1.2 ppts;
      • Domestic (UK and Spain): 74.7%, +1.0 ppts;
      • Europe: 75.1%, +0.5 ppt;
      • North America: 83.7%, +2.2 ppts;
