IAG pax numbers up 29% but cargo traffic down 11% in May-2013, premium traffic down 3%
International Airlines Group (IAG) reports (05-Jun-2013) the following consolidated traffic* highlights in May-2013:
- Passenger numbers: 6.2 million, +28.6% year-on-year;
- Domestic (UK & Spain): 1.6 million, +45.9%;
- Europe: 2.9 million, +43.2%;
- North America: 814,000, +4.5%;
- Latin America and Caribbean: 327,000, -13%;
- Africa, Middle East and S.Asia: 375,000, -1.8%;
- Asia Pacific: 128,000, +6.7%;
- Passenger load factor: 79.5%, +0.9 ppt;
- Domestic (UK & Spain): 76%, +2.8 ppts;
- Europe: 76.9%, +2.6 ppts;
- North America: 86.3%, +1.3 ppts;
- Latin America and Caribbean: 79.4%, -1.8 ppts;
- Africa, Middle East and S.Asia: 72.3%, +0.1 ppt;
- Asia Pacific: 76.3%, +4.4 ppts;
