IAG pax numbers up 1% but cargo traffic down 8% in Feb-2013, group premium traffic stable
International Airlines Group (IAG) reports (05-Mar-2013) the following consolidated traffic highlights in Feb-2013:
- Passenger numbers: 3.6 million, +1.4% year-on-year;
- Domestic (UK & Spain): 746,000, -2.0%;
- Europe: 1.6 million, +6.4%;
- North America: 490,000, -1.4%;
- Latin America and Caribbean: 329,000, -11.8%;
- Africa, Middle East and S.Asia: 362,000, +5.2%;
- Asia Pacific: 113,000, +3.7%;
- Passenger load factor: 75.2%, +1.6 ppts;
- Domestic (UK & Spain): 64.1%, -9.5 ppts;
- Europe: 71%, +4.6 ppts;
- North America: 73.6%, +4.0 ppts;
- Latin America and Caribbean: 81.8%, -2.2 ppts;
- Africa, Middle East and S.Asia: 75.6%, +2.0 ppts;
- Asia Pacific: 76.6%, +3.0 ppts;
