IAG passenger numbers up 3.8% in Jun-2011
International Airlines Group (IAG) reports (05-Jul-2011) the following consolidated traffic highlights in Jun-2011:
- Passenger numbers: 4.5 million, +3.8% year-on-year;
- Domestic (UK and Spain): 925,000, -15.1%;
- Europe: 2.0 million, +9.5%;
- North America: 756,000, +15.4%;
- Latin America and Caribbean: 378,000, +12.5%;
- Africa, Middle East and South Asia: 314,000, -1.3%;
- Asia Pacific: 128,000, +14.3%;
- Passenger load factor: 81.7%, +1.8 ppts;
- Domestic (UK and Spain): 77.2%, +2.0 ppts;
- Europe: 78.6%, +1.7 ppts;
- North America: 87.8%, +3.0 ppts;
- Latin America and Caribbean: 83.3%, -0.6 ppt;
- Africa, Middle East and S.Asia: 72.2%, +0.9 ppt;
- Asia Pacific: 79.1%, +0.5 ppt;

IAG: "Group premium traffic for the month of June grew by 25.2% compared to the previous year, with 6.7% growth in non-premium traffic.
