IAG passenger numbers down 1.4% in Feb-2012, cargo traffic down
International Airlines Group (IAG) reports (05-Mar-2012) the following consolidated traffic highlights in Feb-2012:
- Passenger numbers: 3.6 million, -1.4% year-on-year;
- Domestic (UK and Spain): 761,000, -13.3%;
- Europe: 1.5 million, +0.3%;
- North America: 497,000, +9.5%;
- Latin America and Caribbean: 373,000, +2.5%;
- Africa, Middle East and S.Asia: 344,000, +3.3%;
- Asia Pacific: 109,000, -1.8%;
- Passenger load factor: 73.6%, +0.8 ppt;
- Domestic (UK and Spain): 73.6%, +6.2 ppts;
- Europe: 66.4%, +2.1 ppts;
- North America: 69.6%, +2.3 ppts;
- Latin America and Caribbean: 84%, +0.3 ppt;
- Africa, Middle East and S.Asia: 73.6%, -2.0 ppts;
- Asia Pacific: 73.6%, -3.4 ppts;
