GMR Group sees stable regulatory environment for Delhi and Huderabad airports
India's GMR Group chairman G M Roa stated (15-Aug-2013) the regulatory scenario at both Delhi and Hyderabad is "now stable" and both airports are contributing positively to the group's cash flows. International traffic is picking up at both locations and the group has already filed its tariff application for Hyderabad airport. 2Q2013 airport highlights include:
- Delhi International Airport: Traffic up 3%, including a 20% increase in international traffic compared to 1Q2013;
- Hyderabad International Airport: Traffic up 3%, including a 24% increase in international traffic compared to 1Q2013. Cargo traffic up 7%;
- Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen International Airport: "Robust" overall traffic growth of 18% for the 2Q2013. International growth also "robust" at 30% compared to1Q2013. Domestic traffic up 11%.
