GMR Group: Delhi and Hyderabad airports are stable and experienceing passenger growth
India's GMR Group chairman G M Rao said (13-Nov-2013) the company's airport operations at India's Delhi and Hyderabad are stable and both are experiencing healthy passenger growth, especially in international passengers, which is driving non-aero revenue growth. Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen International Airport turned profit after tax "positive in the current quarter". Mr Rao announced the group has already filed its tariff application for Hyderabad airport. Airport segment highlights:
- Delhi Airport: 9% passenger growth. 19% international passenger growth. 18% growth in non-aeronautical revenues. 5% growth in cargo;
- Hyderabad Airport: 6% passenger growth. 19% international passenger growth. 12% growth in non-aeronautical revenues. 7% growth in cargo;
