French exports to UAE reach record

UAE Minister of Foreign Trade, Shaikha Lubna Al Qasimi, stated relations between the UAE and France have been growing in recent years at a very rapid pace, including trade, investments, tourism and culture, adding that the volume of French exports to the UAE has tripled since 1998 and the UAE is now receiving nearly half of the total French exports to the Gulf region. With the addition of the new service, the total combined number of Air France-KLM services from the UAE has increased from 28 to 30 per week, with the start of the 2010 summer programme.
