First B747-8F leaves factory

Boeing announced (12-Nov-2009) that its first B747-8F, ultimately destined for Cargolux, was towed out of the Everett factory and will be painted ahead of its the commencement of its first flight test. Boeing has secured 105 orders for the B747-8, 78 of which are orders for the new freighter. Cargolux, Nippon Cargo Airlines, AirBridgeCargo Airlines, Atlas Air, Cathay Pacific, Dubai Aerospace Enterprise, Emirates SkyCargo, Guggenheim and Korean Air have placed orders for the B747-8 Freighter.[more]
