Berlin Schönefeld and Berlin Tegel airports pax up 7%, cargo down 6% in Oct-2015

Berlin Tegel and Berlin Schönefeld airports reported (09-Nov-2015) a combined 6.5% year-on-year increase in passenger numbers to 2.9 million in Oct-2015, with Berlin Tegel recording a 2.0% growth to 2.0 million and Berlin Schönefeld recording a 19.0% increase to 855,168. Aircraft movements at both airports increased 3.9% to 24,142, including a 1.4% increase to 16,934 aircraft movements at Berlin Tegel and a 10.3% increase to 7208 at Berlin Schönefeld.
