FBB records pax growth of 3.6% in May-2015; up 3.6% between Jan-2015 to May-2015

Flughafen Berlin Brandenburg GmbH (FBB) reported (10-Jun-2015) year-on-year overall traffic at Berlin Schönefeld and Tegel airports increased by approximately 3.6% to 2.6 million passengers in May-2015. Berlin Schönefeld Airport recorded passenger growth of approximately 10% to 708,000 while Tegel Airport recorded 1.4% growth to 2 million passengers. Total aircraft traffic at both airports decreased by 4.5% to 22,859 movements, likewise freight traffic declined by approximately 10% to 3319 tonnes in the month. Overall traffic at the two airports increased by 3.6% to 11 million passengers during the first five months of 2015. Aircraft movements also increased by 1.2% to 101,508 during the five-month period.
