Etihad considers acquisitions; focus on break even: CEO

Etihad Airways CEO, James Hogan, stated the carrier may consider acquisitions in the future but will concentrate for now on reaching break-even point (Reuters, 09-Jun-2010). He added that any decision on acquisitions was up to shareholders, while management's job was to review the business model and submit different scenarios to the board. Mr Hogan also brushed off speculation Etihad is interested in German LCC, Air Berlin.
