Etihad Airways expands network in strategic markets in 1H2015

Etihad Airways stated (10-Jul-2014) it plans to commence nonstop Algiers, Brisbane, Edinburgh, Entebbe, Hong Kong, Kolkata and Madrid services in 1H2015 to expand its coverage and strengthen its customer proposition in the strategically important markets of Africa, Asia and Europe. The new routes will increase the airline's total passenger and cargo network to 107 destinations. The carrier will also increase frequency on existing services in 1H2015, focusing on the Indian subcontinent, Middle East and North America markets. The expansion is also expected to enhance the carrier's codeshare agreements and align its operations with airline partners, including Air Europa, Air Seychelles, Jet Airways, Kenya Airways and Virgin Australia.
