Emirates to serve New York with twice daily A380 flights

Emirates confirmed (05-Jul-2012) plans to deploy A380 equipment on its second daily service to New York JFK, effective 01-Jan-2013, becoming the first airline to serve a US city with a second daily A380 service. The 489-seat, three class A380 will replace Boeing 777-300ER equipment and offer almost 1000 additional seats per week in each direction.
