Emirates deploys A380 to Rome Fiumicino as 19th superjumbo delivered

Emirates stated (02-Dec-2011) it has brought Italy into its broadening A380 network with the launch of A380 service to Rome Fiumicino. The deployment of A380 equipment on the route will result in an additional 34% capacity on the Dubai-Rome route equating to an extra 250 seats per day. Emirates launched service to Italy in 1992 and operates 35 weekly services to Rome (double daily), Milan (double daily) and Venice (daily). [more - original PR]
