Emirates argues case for more German destinations

Emirates has sent a 12-page position paper to more than 100 German politicians and industry experts, arguing that permitting the carrier to operate to more destinations in Germany would boost the local economies in the country (Dow Jones, 28-Jun-2010). The carrier operates to Frankfurt, Munich, Dusseldorf and Hamburg. The German Government has reportedly stated that if the carrier wishes to operate to another point in the country, it would have to drop services to one of the existing destinations.
