British Airways suspends services to Tokyo Haneda

British Airways has suspended services to Tokyo Haneda Airport until further notice, after only launching the service in Feb-2011 (Travel Weekly, 18-Apr-2011). The carrier will maintain services to Tokyo Narita International Airport to which it resumed direct services on 02-Apr-2011. The carrier resumed services to Japan soon after the disaster but operated the services first via Hong Kong and then via Seoul to allow a crew change so UK-based crew could stay overnight outside the country.
