Brazil domestic pax up 11% month-on-month, load factors up 2%: ABEAR

Brazilian Association of Airlines (ABEAR) reported (22-Aug-2013) 6.95 million domestic passengers were transported in Jul-2013 by its member carriers, TAM Airlines, Gol, Azul/TRIP Linhas Aereas and Avianca Brazil. ABEAR reported the following numbers for Jul-2013:

• Passengers (domestic): 6.95 million, +11% month-on-month;
• Average load factor (domestic): 78.8%, +1.8% month-on-month;
• • Avianca Brazil: 85.4%

  • Azul: 80.6%;
  • TRIP: 76.8%;
  • Gol: 71.2%;
• Market share (domestic):
• • TAM: 41.9%;
