Brazil airlines reports 32% rise in Mar-2010 domestic pax, TAM up 12%

Brazil's National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) reports the following traffic highlights in Mar-2010:

  • Passenger traffic (RPKs):
    • Domestic: +32.0% year-on-year;
    • International: +10.8%;
      • TAM: +8.9%;
      • GOL: +23.6%;
      • Meta: -15.8%;
  • Load factor: 65.5%, +6.7 ppts;
      • TAM: 63.0%, +3.8 ppts;
      • GOL: 65.0%, +8.2 ppts;
      • Webjet: 73.4%, +11.4 ppts;
      • Azul: 84.8%, +17.9 ppts;
      • Oceanair: 72.0%, +1.4 ppt;
      • TRIP: 60.3%, +2.7 ppts;
      • Passaredo: 65.3%, -1.2 ppt;
      • Pantanal: 62.3%, +8.3 ppts;
      • TOTAL: 85.7%, +3.8 ppts;
      • Air Minas: 49.4%, +3.4 ppts;
      • META: 87.7%, +0.8 ppt;
      • NHT: 51.1%, +10.5 ppts;
      • SETE*: 62.2%;
      • SOL**: 43.9%;
      • TEAM: 34.4%, -4.7 ppts;
      • Rico: 66.0%, +11.0 ppts;
      • Abaete: 53.6%, -8.3 ppts;
    • International: 69.5%, +7.4 ppts;
