Brazil airlines report 22% increase in Aug-2009 domestic pax traffic

Brazil's National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) reports (15-Sep-2009) the following traffic highlights in Aug-2009:

  • Passenger traffic (RPKs):
    • Domestic: +21.6% year-on-year;
      • TAM: -1.7%;
      • GOL: +29.0%;
      • Azul*: n/a;
      • WebJet: +103.9%;
      • Oceanair: +18.1%;
      • Trip: +65.1%;
      • Passaredo: +146.9%;
      • Pantanal: -6.1%;
      • Total: -4.9%;
      • Air Minas: +34.3%;
      • Meta: -27.8%;
      • NHT: -23.1%;
      • Rico: -74.7%;
      • Team: -33.8%;
      • Abaete: +2.0%;
      • Puma Air: -89.1%;
    • International: -3.4%;
      • TAM: +16.8%;
      • GOL: -60.7%;
      • Meta: +1.4%;
