Jet2.com to launch 12 new routes at Edinburgh in summer 2016
Jet2.com announced (20-May-2015) plans to expand its base at Edinburgh Airport in summer 2016, with a fifth based Boeing 737-800 aircraft and 12 new routes - see Route Changes Table for more information:
- Edinburgh-Antalya: Weekly service to launch on 23-Jun-2016. Thomson Airways also operates on the route;
- Edinburgh-Dalaman: Weekly service to launch on 24-Jun-2016. easyJet and Thomson Airways also operate on the route;
- Edinburgh-Gran Canaria: Weekly service to launch on 15-Feb-2016. Ryanair also operates on the route;
- Edinburgh-Heraklion: Twice weekly service to launch on 27-May-2016. easyJet also operates on the route;
- Edinburgh-Kefallinia: Weekly service to launch on 25-May-2016. The carrier will be the route's only operator;
- Edinburgh-Lanzarote: Twice weekly service to launch on 14-Feb-2016. Ryanair and Thomson Airways also operate on the route;
- Edinburgh-Larnaca: Weekly service to launch on 25-May-2016. The carrier will be the route's only operator;
- Edinburgh-Paphos: Weekly service to launch on 22-Jun-2016. easyJet and Thomson Airways also operate on the route;
- Edinburgh-Rhodes: Weekly service to launch on 25-Jun-2016. The carrier will be the route's only operator;
- Edinburgh-Tenerife Sur: Twice weekly service to launch on 12-Feb-2016. easyJet, Ryanair and Thomson Airways also operate on the route;
- Edinburgh-Vienna: Twice weekly service to launch on 29-Apr-2016. The carrier will be the route's only operator;
- Edinburgh-Zakinthos: Twice weekly service to launch on 31-May-2016. The carrier will be the route's only operator.
