Athens services to increase 7% in summer 2011
Athens International Airport announced (15-Mar-2011) foreign carriers continue to increase services to Athens "despite the continued adverse financial conditions" in the local economy. The airport is expecting a 7% increase in scheduled international services during summer (25-Mar to 27-Oct-2011). The airport stated that 65 airlines will offer 944 scheduled weekly services to 77 international destinations in 49 countries. [more]

- TAP Portugal, Jetairfly, Belle Air, transavia.com, with Air China, Rossiya Airlines, Sun Express, and Air One are resuming Athens services;
