Asiana Airlines: US route accounts for 21% of pax revenue in 2Q2012

Asiana Airlines reported (14-Aug-202) passenger revenue on US routes accounted for 21.1% of the carrier’s total passenger revenue in 2Q2012, followed by Japan (18.7%), Southeast Asia (17.6%), China (17.0%), Europe (9.4%), domestic (9.2%), Oceania (4.9%) and CIS (2.1%). Details of the carrier’s operational highlights by region are as follows:

    • Japan: +24.5%;
    • China: +3.3%;
    • Southeast Asia: -0.6%;
    • CIS: +9.5%;
    • US: +4.7%;
    • Europe: +14.6%;

    • Japan: 72.4%, +7.4 ppts;
    • China: 74.0%, +2.6 ppts;
    • Southeast Asia: 73.3%, -0.3 ppt;
