Asian airports rank high in ACI report
Airport Council International released its ACI Airport Service Quality, which shows a market difference in passenger rankings by geography, with major Asian airports ranking much higher than European or North American airports.
- In Asia, Singapore Changi, Seoul Incheon and Hong Kong occupy the three highest ranked airports in the world, with Beijing, Shanghai Pudong and Kuala Lumpur also in the top 10;
- In the US, Dallas Fort Worth ranked 42nd, Denver 57th and Atlanta, the world's busiest airport, is 69th. Chicago O'Hare and Los Angeles International do not feature in the survey, which ranks 146 airports;
- In Europe, Amsterdam Schiphol is the best-placed major airport, ranking 93rd. London Heathrow is ranked 99th, Frankfurt 126th and Paris CDG 137th. London Gatwick ranks 106th and London Stansted 111th.
