AirAsia CEO looks to launch AirAsia Singapore brand

AirAsia CEO Tony Fernandes is "keen" to operate in Singapore, posting advertisements recently for cabin crew positions at AirAsia Singapore (The Wall Street Journal, 17-May-2011). The carrier will be "night-stopping" aircraft there, in order to conduct morning services out of the island nation. Mr Fernandes also announced that AirAsia Thailand and AirAsia Indonesia remain on track for separate initial public offerings later in 2011.
