Air New Zealand passenger numbers up 0.8% – traffic highlights for Sep-2013:

  • Passenger numbers: 1.3 million, +0.8% year-on-year;
    • Short-haul: 1.2 million, +0.9%;
    • Domestic: 832,000, +1.1%;
    • Tasman/Pacific: 318,000, +0.5%;
    • Long-haul: 147,000, -0.1%;
    • Asia/Japan/UK: 48,000, -15.2%;
    • North America/UK: 99,000, +9.2%;
  • Passenger load factor: 84.1%, -0.6 ppt;
    • Short-haul: 81.2%, -1.6 ppts;
    • Domestic: 79.5%, -0.9 ppt;
    • Tasman/Pacific: 82%, -2.0 ppts;
    • Long-haul: 86.9%, +0.6 ppt;
    • Asia/Japan/UK: 77.4%, -1.6 ppts;
