Air China now twice the size of Delta and Lufthansa

IATA reported Air China is now twice the size of Delta Air Lines and Lufthansa with a market capitalisation of USD20 billion (Wenweipo, 15-Dec-2010). According to IATA, the world's five biggest airlines are from Asia and Latin America including Singapore Airlines (USD14 billion), Cathay Pacific (USD12 billion), China Southern Airlines (USD10 billion) and LATAM, the Latin American airlines created from the merger of LAN Chile and TAM with USD10 billion. Delta and Lufthansa followed with market capitalisation of USD10 billion, respectively.
