Slovenia appoints KPMG as financial adviser for Adria Airways privatisation

Slovenia's Slovenski Državni Holding (SDH) announced (20-Mar-2015) the appointment of KPMG as financial adviser in the state's sale of a 91.58% shareholding in Adria Airways. SDH stated: "By signing the Contract of Mandate, KPMG, with due diligence of a good expert, has assumed the rendering of financial advisory services in the sale of shares of Adria Airways. KPMG's references regarding the financial advisory services rendered in various M&A transactions are extensive and of quality. KPMG shall manage the sale process under the leadership of an international team." As previously reported by CAPA, SDH and state-owned firms Družba za Upravljanje Terjatev Bank (DUTB) and Posebna Družba za Podjetniško (PDP) announced plans in Jan-2015 to divest their combined 91.58% stake.
