A4A: US aviation sector does not have revenue problem, suffers lack of stable funding

Airlines For America (A4A) SVP legislative and regulatory policy Sharon Pinkerton, speaking at the CAPA Americas Aviation Summit, said (27-Apr-2015) the US aviation sector does not have a revenue problem, but suffers from the lack of stable and predictable funding. ALPA president Tim Canoll said government aviation services require a stable long-term source of funding. Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport CEO Sean Donohue called for the US FAA, airlines and airports to develop a plan to implement the NextGen programme with a sustainable investment model. US FAA deputy administrator for policy, international affairs and environment Carl Burleson said the industry requires stable funding and effective collaboration.
