19-Oct-2012 Tiger Airways Holdings Limited makes the following statement with regards to its wholly-owned subsidiary Tiger Airways Australia Pty Limited ("Tiger Airways Australia").

Tiger Airways Australia has today been issued with a new Air Operators Certificate (AOC) by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority of Australia (CASA) without any restrictions associated with the 2011
grounding.

The airline had previously been operating on an AOC with certain conditions imposed.

"This is a significant milestone for Tiger Airways," said Andrew David, CEO of the Tiger Airways Australia. "Over the last year, we have worked hard to ensure that Tiger is second to none for safety, reliability and punctuality. Today's news reflects our close working relationship with CASA and ongoing commitment to operational excellence."

In conjunction with CASA's safety requirements, enhancements have been made to Tiger Airways Australia's Safety Management System, and Tiger Airways Australia has now met all of the requirements set by the safety regulator.

As the airline returns to full operational capacity, more and more Australians are realising the benefits of flying with Tiger. Almost two million passengers have flown with the airline over the last 12 months and a recent Roy Morgan Domestic Airline Satisfaction Report showed an increase of 29 percentage points in customer satisfaction with Tiger Airways Australia between June and September 2012.

"Tiger Airways Australia will continue to work closely with CASA as the airline now focuses on achieving its commercial goals," concluded Mr. David.
