Senai International Airport, formerly known as Sultan Ismail International Airport, is situated near Senai, in the state of Johor Bahru. It accepts domestic, international and freight traffic and is the secondary hub for AirAsia. In Dec-2014 the airport revealed it is seeking a ‘complementary role’ to Singapore Changi Airport.
