Qantas to codeshare with LCC subsidiary, Jetstar Asia

SYDNEY (Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation) - Qantas applied to the Australian International Air Services Commission to codeshare with Jetstar Asia on Australia-India services from 01-Dec-05.
Jetstar Asia launched three times weekly Singapore-Kolkata service in Aug-05 and recently announced plans to increase frequency to four times weekly in Oct-05. Qantas currently operates to Mumbai.
