Jann Fisch appointed as CEO of Nuance Australia and New Zealand

(CAPA) The Nuance Group announced the appointment of Jann Fisch

as CEO of The Nuance Group Australia & New Zealand from 01-Nov-07. Jann

Fisch will also join the Executive Management Team of The Nuance Group AG.

In a diverse career over the past two decades, Mr Fisch has worked in the airline, airport, retail and service sectors. Starting in Marketing, Sales and Business Development for Gate Gourmet, Jann joined Swissair in 1996 as Marketing & Sales Manager for Northern and Eastern Europe. He was subsequently promoted to Swissair Managing Director of Germany, one of Swissair's key markets. In 2000, Jann was recruited as Executive Vice President of SwissCargo, where he led the worldwide sales and marketing organisation.

In 2002, Jann became CEO of Pick Pay, Switzerland's second largest discount retail chain, followed by his appointment in 2005 as CEO of Compass Group Switzerland, a subsidiary of Compass Group.

Mr Fisch will be based in Sydney, Australia.
