General Ignacio Pesqueira García International Airport serves the northwestern Mexican city of Hermosillo, capital and main manufacturing base of Sonora State. The airport is the eighth-busiest in the country by passenger numbers, with all major Mexican full-service and LCCs offering connections across the country and to a few southern US cities. The airport is operated by Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico (GAP).
